Position Title: Deputy Building Inspector

O2EPCM, Inc. is a prominent award-winning experienced firm providing Professional, Technical, Consulting and Management Services in the Planning, Design, Engineering and Construction Industry to Local, State, Federal Government Agencies, Utility Companies and Private Clients. We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator/Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of electrical projects.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $137,000

Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)

Type: Full-Time

Position: Deputy Construction Inspector

Salary Range: $125,000 - $137,000

Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)

Type: Full-Time

Essential Job Duties

Deputy Building Inspector:

  1. Candidates with ICC and LADBS deputy certifications highly desired and will be expected to perform the work as required per the specialties licenses and certifications they possess.
  2. Familiarity and experience to inspect construction of public works buildings, LAWA's prescriptive requirements.
  3. Experience and knowledge in the following disciplines, but not limited to: demolition, clearing and grubbing, soils classification, trenching and excavations, reviewing and enforcing shoring requirements, airport ramp renovations and modifications, passenger boarding bridge removal and installations, baggage handling systems, rebar and concrete placement, structural systems metal stud and drywall.

Minimum Education Level: High school diploma (or equivalent).

Professional Licenses & Certification: Valid Los Angeles City Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) license for the scope of work being inspected; have a thorough knowledge of building construction practices, and be experienced in one or more of the expertise areas listed below: -Reinforced concrete -Reinforced masonry -Structural Steel and Welding -Prestressed Concrete Controlled Activities: -Sprayed Applied Fireproofing -Drilled-in-Anchors -Shotcrete Soils/Grading -Seismic Resistance; 30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment. The 30-hour training will have been received within the last 4 years.

Minimum Years and Experience: 5 years or more of experience performing as a LADBS Deputy Building Inspector large scale type projects.
