This role requires a combination of technical expertise and a forward-thinking approach to support the digital transformation activities.

We have an immediate need for a Shop Floor Production Planner at our aerospace location in Phoenix, AZ. The primary focus of this role is to coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products ensuring complete Bill of Material for release.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure updated Engineering Changes are incorporated correctly at the right time and right work order
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Tracks and manages inter/inter-plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
  • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
  • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports
  • Keep paperwork organized
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education & experience:

  • High school diploma required; 2-year or 4-year degree is a plus
  • 2+ years' experience of working on a Production Planner or other similar position
  • Significant experience in manufacturing resource planning
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Intermediate excel skills preferred) and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed required
  • Due the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen

Pay: $28.00 to 34.00 per hour DOE
