Job Details



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and manage production schedules to ensure a smooth flow of materials, parts, and assemblies across departments
  • Work closely with management to create, monitor, and update job schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet the goal of 100% on-time delivery
  • Track and report the status of all parts and jobs, making adjustments to maintain production timelines
  • Conduct capacity analysis and maintain accurate capacity planning data for future orders
  • Gather and report on manufacturing metrics to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Collaborate on outsourcing needs for manufacturing processes when required
  • Document essential material details, including codes, brands, and vendor contacts, to streamline order processing
  • Update orders to reflect inventory changes and production schedule adjustments
  • Champion and uphold the company’s core values in all planning activities

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and performing basic quality checks
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP scheduling systems; experience with Epicor Vantage or E10 is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in developing and analyzing production metrics to support process improvements
  • Flexibility to take on additional tasks as needed to support production goals
