Description Position at JBS USA Job Title: Accounting Specialist-Payroll Location: Omaha Reporting to: Accounting Manager/Plant Controller Essential Job Functions: * Assist Plant Controller with all phases of accounting functions * Oversee payroll staff and assist in any day to day payroll functions * Use payroll reports to run labor efficiency report, documenting plant productivity and efficiency by way of employees present, cattle processed, overtime costs, PPE costs etc. * Track plant utility costs and send report to upper management daily * Track and reconcile balance sheet accounts * Assist with all other special projects and tasks as assigned by Accounting Manager or Plant Controller Experience Required: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field * 2-3 years of related experience * Knowledge or experience working in meat or food processing industry preferred but not required * Experience working in Kronos or SAP systems preferred but not required Skills/Abilities Required: * Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, namely Excel * Must be able to multi task and possess strong detail oriented analytical abilities * Must be able to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays * Bilingual skills preferred but not required * Effective verbal and written communication skills he applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: * Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment; * Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and company observed holidays; * 401(k): eligible after 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule * $25.00/hr base rate JBS is an equal opportunity employer.
