Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems and components, with a focus on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. This role involves performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications, using computer-assisted engineering and design software, and directing manufacturing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities * Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. * Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. * Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks. * Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. * Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. * Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. * Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. * Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew. Essential Skills * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. * Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components. * Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards. * Proficiency in SolidWorks and other engineering design software. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Electrical design experience from scratch (everything is custom designed per client). * Prior experience within a manufacturing environment. * SolidWorks Electrical, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, Inventor. This role requires an onsite presence 5 days a week, with the following schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
