Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Inspect structures and perform inspections.

· Conduct field surveys and prepare cost information.

· Establish plan review and inspection processes.

· Review structures to ensure compliance with building codes and local regulations.

· Monitor site for safety compliances.

· Identify environmental or safety hazards at work sites.

· Temporary position can range from 1 week to 3 months.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

· Located in Tampa / west coast of FL area

· Construction or management experience

· FDEM or FEMA project or in-house experience

· Section 1206 experience

· Permit department or plans review experience

· State of Florida licensed “Building Official” preferred

· Availability as soon as possible preferred, but additional opportunities available in the future
