Summary of Position:#The Marketing and Communications Manager (Manager) supports all aspects of development and execution of internal and external messaging through a variety of digital and print communication vehicles. The Manager plays a primary role in acting as the primary project manager for all marketing and communications projects and ensuring deliverables are provided to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manager. The Manager will work collaboratively with leadership across the organization in developing timelines, collaborating with internal and external agencies on production, and implementing final products. This position is responsible for organizing and executing the marketing and communications activities and events that support the key programs, activities, and strategic priorities of the Hospital and collaborate with the Foundation team on their events, solicitations, and initiatives in collaboration with the Director, Marketing and Communications (Director). The Manager organizes internal and external projects and content for platforms including but not limited to social media, the Hospital and Foundation websites, digital messaging boards, organizational communications/messaging, advertising and promotion, and press releases. Primary Job Responsibilities:# Project Management and Coordination: Oversees project management of internal and external marketing communication initiatives and events in collaboration with the Director. Creates a project tracking mechanism and establishes timelines; coordinates and organizes projects related to internal and external communications and messaging; and ensures projects are organized and completed on time, keeping department apprised of key deadlines and milestones. Brand and Image Management: Ensures all developed creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere with hospital and system brand guidelines in collaboration with system marketing and communications team. Coordinates and organizes giveaway and promotional item orders for the department and overall organization, developing a tracking system to manage requests, item selection, budgeting, inventory control, and storage. Communications and Messaging: Develops copy and designs for internal communications, including email newsletters, template designs, and digital message boards. Supports development of organizational presentations, slide decks, and speaking / talking points. Communicates, coordinates, and integrates marketing and communications while applying best-in-class practices to all efforts. Engages with content experts to ensure accuracy of information disseminated to target audiences. Utilizes appropriate, effective communication channels to support employee recognition programming, as well as internal and external Hospital and Foundation events. Ensures developed content is implemented across all vehicles working collaboratively with leaders and Hospital and Foundation staff Creates and manages content for Hospital and Foundation websites, ensuring sites are current and relevant, based on organizational priorities. Coordinates social media platforms for Hospital and collaborates with Foundation on their platforms; integrates messaging and develops / manages coordinated social media calendar for both entities in collaboration with Foundation Special Events # Communications Manager. Drafts and distributes media advisories, press releases, etc. while ensuring key information is shared with key stakeholders at appropriate times. Works with Albany Med Health System (AMHS) designer and other internal and external vendors to develop collateral and promote across internal and external channels. Assists with developing, tracking and maintaining the marketing/communications budget. # Minimum Qualifications:#Bachelor Degree required. Master#s Degree preferred.#Three years required, five years preferred of marketing experience utilizing progressive marketing skills including social media, web development, and graphic design. Experience in healthcare setting preferred. Experience in project management preferred. # Salary Range: $26.97 - $47.44 Pay Grade: K Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
