Job Description About the Role As Vice President Engineering, you will be a key executive leader, responsible for managing and deploying multidisciplinary engineering resources in a product development environment. Your role will include driving completion of program requirements, strategic planning, and ensuring the successful implementation of new services and products across multiple projects using a Systems Engineering approach. You will excel in a matrix organization structure, managing diverse stakeholders, and utilising strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment, all while ensuring the delivery of state-of-the-art defence solutions. Desired Skills and Experience Experience: * At least 15 years of relevant experience in the Defence industry or similar sectors like infrastructure, mining, construction, or aerospace. * Minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role leading a multidisciplinary engineering team. * Proven experience managing engineering resources across multiple projects within a product development environment. * Strong background in leadership, team building, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization structure. * Demonstrated skills in software and electronics engineering. * Eligible for defence security clearance. * Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and ensure the safe and secure delivery of products.
