Responsibilities Sentinel is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Digital Forensic Investigator to join one of our largest local clients. As a key player on the Information Security team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and mitigating incidents and risks associated in our clients increasing digital threat landscape. Our client is looking for an individual who is passionate about incident response, forensic analysis and safeguarding the interests of the organization. Expertise should include Incident Response, Digital Evidence Collection, Forensic Tools, Data Recovery, Documentation, Legal Support and Forensic Training. This is a full-time HYBRID ROLE 9 am to 5 pm (CST) Mon-Fri. Candidate will need to report onsite at our client location in Chicago, IL at least 2 days each week. Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or related field * Proficiency with digital forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, and Autopsy. * Inquisitive and curious nature to solve problems in an ever-evolving threat environment * Strong and proven knowledge of network protocols, operating systems and cybersecurity threats. * Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment * Excellent communication skills to advise infrastructure and applications staff on security initiatives * Familiarity and processes for staying current with emerging technologies relating to security * The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment * A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required * Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship * Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude We focus on candidates that display our "ACE" factor - Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service.
