Salary/Position Classification * $12.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) * 10 hours per week * 100% Remote Work Availability: No * Hybrid Work Availability: No Purpose of Position This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students who have accepted a Federal Work Study (FWS) Financial Aid Offer are eligible to be hired in this position. Unsolicited applications to this posting will NOT be considered. Students will assist in the preservation, organization, and digitization of media guides, game programs, and photographs regarding UND Athletics. Students will use Adobe Photoshop software and the INDUS Book Scanner to upload items to the UND Scholarly Commons. Duties & Responsibilities * Ensures that all scanned files meet specified quality control benchmarks * Maintains technical data regarding each scanned file * Supports long term preservation of scanned files * Additional tasks as needed Required Competencies * Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and experience with the scanning of documents and photographs * Must be motivated * Pay close attention to detail * Display excellent interpersonal communication skills * Be able to work both independently and in a team environment Minimum Requirements * Applicants must be current UND students (any discipline) and enrolled at UND for the fall 2024 semester. * Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
