User Experience (UX) Designer (Amplify Education, Inc., Brooklyn, NY): * Design user experiences for new and existing web-based educational software applications; * Design user interfaces in software applications informed and validated by research and data; * Develop user stories, wire frames, interaction flows, mockups, and quick prototypes and polished visual design; * Gather user research and use findings to build initial designs and rapid prototypes for iterative user testing with teachers and students; * Create high fidelity prototypes; * Participate in software design review sessions with product owners and stakeholders; * Prepare and present mockups and wireframes to internal teams and key stakeholders; * Partner with design leads, product owners, and developers to craft new features for web-based software applications for teachers and administrators to use; * Prepare designs for review for internal teams and key partners; * Develop polished front-end designs for handoff to developers; * Leverage and evolve software design systems, craft visual details, and maintain guidelines to optimize software application product consistency; * Participate in problem solving and design to drive compelling user experiences and interfaces; * Collaborate closely with design and product leadership to define features and contribute to the overall direction of product; * Utilize Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin; * Design desktop and mobile applications; * Utilize HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. * Perform digital product design in education technology; * Design Accessibility features in digital products; and, * Liaise with customers to gather and document user experience. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field of study. * One (1) year of experience with Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin; designing desktop and mobile applications; HTML, JavaScript, and CSS; digital product design in education technology; designing Accessibility features in digital products; and liaising with customers to gather and document user experience.
