Job Summary Our 10-12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions. FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is hiring a graduate intern on the Product Management team as a User Experience Designer. A successful candidate will engage with clients, engineering, marketing, sales, services, and other Product Designers while helping develop the next generation of product capabilities. This opportunity offers the right candidate a chance to shape a key product in the FreeWheel portfolio and drive the future of the video advertising industry. Job Description Responsibilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to understand project requirements and user needs. * Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to visualize user interfaces and product features. * Conduct user research and usability testing to gather valuable insights and feedback for design iterations. * Assist in the development and maintenance of design systems and guidelines. * Contribute to the design process from concept to implementation, ensuring a user-centered and visually appealing final product. * Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user experience and product design. Basic Requirements * Ability to work 40 hours the entire duration of the program * Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future. * Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in user interface design, HCI, interaction design, visual communication/graphic design, or a related field preferred. * Strong passion for user-centered design principles. * Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Relevant Work Experience 0-2 Years Salary: Base Pay: $53.00 The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
