Position Summary: Under supervision of engineering staff, performs complex engineering work of a broad nature to achieve outcomes. Frequently uses and applies highly technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Successfully demonstrates understanding of engineering skill(s) that can be applied in a number of experiences, using a considerable amount of judgment and originality. General Responsibilities: * Receives direction from engineering staff to assist in execution of projects involving product components, processes, or materials in development, quality, and/or manufacturing to achieve stated outcomes. * Identifies, makes recommendations, and develops solutions to complex technical problems. Uses ingenuity in evaluating technical problems while maintaining project timelines. * Performs work on a wide range of projects or on a project of broad scope that may have major impact on the organization. * May involve vendor and/or customer contact. * Understands and implements FDA or regulatory requirements as necessary. * May be assigned total project leadership responsibilities on a portion of a significant project or all of a small to medium project, e.g., report writing, planning, scheduling, and cost control. * Interacts cross-functionally within the organization-across departments and disciplines and with outside customer and/or vendor contacts to ensure outcomes and deadlines are achieved. Frequently seeks and uses information from other departments. * Effectively communicates and presents findings, problems, and solutions within the team and organization. Education: * Engineering Bachelors degree or equivalent, or in pursuit of such a degree. Pay Transparency: * A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $25/hr.
