As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading manufacturing activities and supervising a represented workforce to achieve quality, schedule, and cost objectives in the Component Final Finishes areas. What You Will Be Doing * Oversee the daily assignment of tasks of coaters and ensure their proper execution while maintaining cost and schedule. * Execute build plans for coaters and identify and implement changes to improve quality, schedule, and cost efficiency. * Reinforce a culture that prioritizes First Time Right (FTR) and Foreign Object Damage prevention and ensure the certification of employees performing tasks requiring certification. * Provide a safe work environment and take timely corrective actions to address unsafe conditions. * Ensure that employees and leadership comply with established Core processes and program-specific procedures. A key aspect of your role will be to proactively drive continuous improvement, develop technical competencies, and enhance talent and performance. You will identify and incorporate continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes, recognize skill set gaps, and collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to boost employee engagement. Aeroprodops Basic Qualifications: * Experience with Aeronautics or Aerospace manufacturing/productions methodologies in a professional environment. * Experience in managing a team using tools, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment. * Experience business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, &/or quality) * MS Office proficiency, mainly with Teams, Outlook, and Excel Desired Skills: * Understanding of business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality). * Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, EWI, and STK * Working knowledge of Crew Plans and STK Clearance Level: None Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
