Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing / Process Engineer position in Stanton, Tennessee which offers a rare, groundbreaking opportunity to be an integral part of the team that will launch the facility from scratch. We are spearheading the evolution of the electric vehicle (EV) battery sector through strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing product offerings and processes to boost customer satisfaction. As a key player in this transformation, you will work closely with our teams to advance the development of batteries essential for achieving excellence in the electric vehicle market. Key Responsibilities: * Support manufacturing process engineering activities for Final Assembly. * Foster continuous improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency. * Utilize engineering principles and analytical methods to develop and enhance manufacturing processes and products. * Create and implement action plans to address and prioritize quality issues, verifying corrective measures for both internal and supplier processes. * Perform ergonomic evaluations of job tasks and implement necessary corrective actions. * Investigate root causes of Cell / Array scrap and work on mapping and corrective measures to minimize waste. * Develop process documentation and instruction sheets that support quality standards and procedures. * Ensure the delivery of effective processes and tools. * Take a leading role in addressing assembly-related issues, and spearhead efforts to reduce variability and implement lean manufacturing practices. * Ensure adherence to plant, corporate, governmental, and environmental regulations. * Support ISO 14001 compliance and participate in internal ISO audits as needed. * Identify and address constraints affecting Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and throughput. Minimum Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree. * Experience: Over 5 years of relevant experience. * Availability to support any shift within a 7-day work schedule. * Willingness to travel extensively during the initial plant start-up phase. * Ability to work both remotely and on-site at temporary facilities as required during the initial phase of the plant start-up. * Proven leadership skills with excellent interpersonal, team-building, and communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. * Experience: * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Background in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. * Proficiency in 8D and 5Why for corrective actions and problem-solving. * Familiarity with Lean Tools such as 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping. * Experience with Total Quality Management (TQM) and Kaizen methods. * Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, and Design of Experiments (DOEs). * Experience in Visual Factory Management. * Expertise in ergonomic analysis. Pay based on experience, open to negotiation.
