Position, Department: MTC Graphic Design Intern, Advancement & Government Affairs Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs, 12 hours per week Pay Range: $15.00 per hour and determined based on relevant years of work experience. Benefits Category: Partial benefits Position Summary: Graphic Design Intern is a JCCC student who will work with the MTC Marketing Coordinator on engaging solutions for communications and marketing channels, including social assets, emails, print and digital ads, publications, event materials, internal presentations, etc. that align with the brand messaging, and strategic objectives for the MTC Performing Arts. Goal: to give the student experience working in a professional setting in a performing arts center. Required Qualifications: * The qualified candidate will be a current JCCC student with a focus in Graphic Design or Advertising Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of Microsoft office suites, outlook and email An understanding of marketing campaign elements To be considered for this position we will require an application, resume, cover letter and portfolio. * Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions. Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to: * Assists in the development and execution of creative concepts for leading edge marketing tactics and campaign creation. * Assists with the prioritization of projects by workload and deadlines. * Maintains the College's values, goals and objectives in all designs. * Work collaboratively among marketing communications team * Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling, shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
