Headquartered in Huntsville, AL, the company employs a professional workforce known for commitment to excellence and exceeding customer expectations Position: System/Network Administration 2 Responsibilities: * Responsible for administration of classified and unclassified systems and networks IAW applicable MDA and DoD guidance. * Ensures IT systems and networks are fully functional for all operational and support activities. * Provides technical advice in relation to IT processes and operations based on applicable MDA and DoD security provisions, technical guidance, and documented instructions. * Responsible for establishing and maintaining user accounts, profiles, privileges and overall network and system security. * Anticipates IT related issues and implements proactive preventive measures. * Develops, sustains, and updates documentation for Information Technology processes and procedures. * Performs regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries. * Maintains IT databases and performs programming tasks in relation to system administration. * Researches, evaluates, and recommends new and emerging IT systems technologies to advance and support MDDC Program requirements. * Supports the work of other staff engaged in system and network administration functions. * Supports the integration and testing of complex large-scale networks. * Researches and recommends new hardware for implementation into the existing network. * Provides Systems Administrative functions in a multi-tiered Windows Active Directory Environment * Provides support of SCCM for software installations and patching. * Understanding of network administration tools, techniques, and methods. * Proficient in Windows 10 Operating System and Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019/2022 * Proficient in the support of Windows Active Directory, Windows Group Policy, STIG evaluation and implementations, and SCCM. * Fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP) * Must be able to work with minimal oversight and possess abilities to communicate effectively through all levels within the organization working closely with project leads and other team members * Position is 100% on site. No telework is available. * Must be a US Citizen and have/maintain a government issued Secret Clearance. * Must possess and maintain a CompTIA Security + CE Certification Education/Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field * At least 6 years of relevant work experience. * Secret Clearance
