As our Engineering Team Lead, you will drive the development and design of innovative products, ensuring timely market delivery in alignment with our business strategy and customer needs. You'll also manage and protect our intellectual property, supporting sales, marketing, and manufacturing activities, including collaborations with joint venture and outsource production partners. Join our team as an Agile Engineering Lead for Bulk Materials Handling (Fixed Plant) applications. You will Manage personnel according to sustainable business needs, addressing issues and targets for Bradken technical products. Provide technical analysis, support, and warranty presentations to customers. Optimize products for functionality, safety, and alignment with Bradken's goals. Being a leader, you will participate in business system design, ensuring efficient new product engineering processes. Collaborate with customers, internal teams, third-party suppliers, and manufacturing partners to meet and anticipate future needs. Ensure access to the latest design tools and technologies, adhering to Australian and International Quality/Manufacturing Standards. Being the subject matter expert, you will standardize design and customization approaches through targeted training. Implement compliance monitoring and address non-compliance issues. Foster customer relationships for product testing, capturing information for training and marketing. Maintain up-to-date product information in the Product Lifecycle Management System. Provide technical analysis and support, anticipating customer needs. Offer expertise in engineering and design for product development. You will provide technical support and analysis to internal stakeholders in Sales, Manufacturing, and Technology. Engage in cross-functional communication to ensure product design, manufacturing, and delivery meet customer needs. The role also involves developing, approving, and presenting products and services that drive customer value, providing technical training to the Product Engineering teams, and defining product strategy with the Sales Manager, Engineering Manager, and Principal Product Manager. Ensure the Central Engineering team has the necessary details to complete product development according to priorities and quality standards. Provide expert advice, challenge norms, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for profitable growth. Overall, you will oversee the North American Fixed Plant product development team, providing technical expertise for designing, developing, and installing products and services aligned with product strategies. Responsibilities include managing and developing the team, facilitating technical contracts and business development for new and existing products, and supporting customer opportunities. Key Technical Criteria: * Degree in Mechanical/Materials/Civil/Structural Engineering or similar stream * Experience in the use of Ansys FEA and Rocky DEM software. * Proficiency in the use of CAD (Unigraphics NX or similar package) including 3D modeling and 2D drafting. * Teamcenter PLM experience would be well regarded. * Experience developing new products to meet customer needs is required. (Fixed Plant / Conveyors) * Demonstrated experience managing a mid-sized team * Significant experience in design engineering, developing, and implementing new products, materials and services in the mining Industry This role is based in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
