Position Summary Finance Planning & Analytics (FP&A) Senior Manager Finance & Performance - Unlocking financial performance and enterprise value We work as trusted advisors to CFO's, COO's, CIO's and other key executives to advise, implement, and deliver as-a service solutions, improving finance, shared service and real estate operations, and helping clients develop strategies to support enterprise-wide decision making. The Team Finance Insights & Transformation Our FI&T team transforms Finance from function to dynamic capability.As finance cycles converge, we advise, implement, and operate best-in-class solutions across actuals and forecast to accelerate insights including finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as-a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation. Work You'll Do As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. You will contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways including: Engagement Management: * Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk. Relationship Management of executive clients and sponsors: * Participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Practice Development & Eminence: * Develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents, participate in public speaking events, get published in industry periodicals. People Development: * Perform the role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Recruiting for this role will end on 24-July-2024 Qualifications Required: * 12 plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry. * EPM experience building models * Financial planning and forecasting, planning analytics, financial modeling, operational finance, predictive forecasting * Understanding of analytics tools for reporting, data and new technologies * Expertise in complex data analysis (specifically relating to financial planning) * Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology - requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile methodology preferable) * Ability to identify client's financial risks and opportunities * Experience advising clients on tools and models to drive efficiencies and cost saving opportunities * Ability to engage with cross-functional teams such as controllers, corp FP&A, finance and accounting teams and IT * Planning, budgeting, and forecasting optimization experience * Skills in management reporting and analytics design * Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions through due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration * Advanced analytics methods and skills experience serving finance and CFO office * Ability to read complex financial and analytic models * Strong understanding of accounting concepts, US GAAP and applications * Cost and profitability management optimization experience * Experience with EPM Software, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, OneStream or Workday Adaptive. * Experience with connected planning across cycles (LRFP, Forecast, Budget) and/or EBP * Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. * Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve * Bachelor's degree from accredited university Preferred: * Zero-based budgeting (ZBB) * Finance AI capabilities like predictive/driver-based forecasting * Relevant sales experience/asset creation * Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization, build consensus and foster change * Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of larger engagements * Experience with pre-sales, proposals and RFP activities * Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills * Willingness to mentor and counsel junior staff * Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,725- $292,875 You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
