University Research Services & Administration Laboratory Animal Technician II, Division of Animal Resources Georgia State University This position provides animal care and maintains routine records according to clearly defined standard operating procedures, federal guidelines and regulations. Continual training is provided, and work is reviewed on a regular basis through observation of procedures and review of records to ensure compliance. This position requires working on weekends and holidays. American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) certification is preferred. Preferred Hiring Qualifications: * Experience with mice, rats, hamsters, and ferrets * Experience working in an ABSL-2 facility
