Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? We are excited to announce an opening for the Licensed Program Director Hendricks Behavioral Hospital (HBH). The Program Director is responsible for managing and directing the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance to the RN, MHT, Providers, and Program Therapists. * Ensure that a system is developed to provide continuity of care and communication with patients. * Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice. * Implement program policies and procedures and acts as a resource to the staff. * Ensure the program complies with Joint Commission, CMS, state and patients' rights regulatory standards. * Conduct and maintain records of monthly program meetings. * Assign staff according to patient needs * Evaluate program effectiveness and formulate plans for improvement. * Develop staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs for clinical service staff. Your Experience Matters What we're looking for: * Education & Licensure: Master's Degree specializing in social work or a clinical related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fully Licensed in Social Work or Clinical related mental health area issued by the State of Indiana. * Experience: Three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility. * Additional Skill Requirements: Completed training of crisis management/prevention techniques. CPR certification and CPI training within 60 days of employment.
