About the role We are looking for a passionate Sous Chef who strives for excellence in a fast-paced work environment.  This position reports to our Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef. What you will do Supervise and oversee the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items per guest orders or as assigned by kitchen management in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. This position is guest facing, with frequent guest interaction and engagement. What you bring * Minimum 3 years culinary or related work experience. Advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position. * Previous supervisory experience is preferred. * Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems. Requires the ability to operate and utilize culinary production equipment and tools. * 4-6 Years of experience in high-end restaurants/luxury hotel hotels. * 3-5 years of experience in sushi focused restaurants with an emphasis on Japanese Cuisine. * Comprehensive experience in high-end Asian cuisine & Sushi Omakase concepts. * Thorough knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques. * Excellent knife skills. Proficient skills in rice preparations, seafood fabrication * Meticulous food safety, grooming and personal hygiene practices are required. * Serve Safe Manager Certification or equivalent (within 3 months) * Hawaii Food Handler's Card * Tuberculosis Clearance What we offer * Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package * Excellent Training and Development opportunities * Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resort * Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms * Complimentary Employee Meals * Salary Range: $83,980 - $92,820 Schedule & Hours * Full time * The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
