This internship opportunity is for Forsyth County high school-level students enrolled in the CTAE Work Program for the 2024-2025 school year. Intern Job Responsibilities: * Learn the overall concept of the organization, including the brand, goals, and all other aspects of service. * Engage with customers/citizens and provide service when necessary and as appropriate. * Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes. * Learn and become proficient in systems if applicable. Job-Specific Responsibilities: * Create Marketing and promotional materials for programs, events, facilities, and parks * Plan and/or assist with logistics for special events, including communication with department staff members, volunteers and vendors, as well as ordering and organizing supplies * Perform a wide variety of tasks such as writing copy for marketing materials, proofreading/editing marketing content, taking photos, or selecting imagery to be used in marketing campaigns, as well as general clerical and customer service tasks Possible Project Responsibilities: * Plan and create informational video(s) to be used for marketing purposes * Develop, offer, and evaluate a community connection or outreach event * Develop strategies using different marketing channels and/or outreach events to increase department visibility and awareness within Forsyth County Schools Minimum Qualifications Overall Requirements: * Communication Skills * Organizational Skills * Initiative * Adaptability * Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills * Flexibility * Professionalism * Customer focus * Confidentiality
