Description CTG is seeking to fill a Recruiting Assistant opening for our client in South Deerfield, MA. Location: South Deerfield, MA Duration: 6 months Duties: * Coordinate interviewer availability for interviews with manufacturing leadership. * Monitor job fairs in the area and coordinate representation. * Collect, distribute, and file information provided by candidates such as resumes and references. * Interview notes. * Execute onboarding for new hires such as setting up training, getting the proper system access, first week agenda and introductions. * Support HR in the identification and execution of the most effective recruitment strategies. * Reach out to local schools and employment organizations to establish long term, mutually beneficial relationships with the company - coordination with talent acquisition strategy (HR recruiting). * Update and maintain content for job descriptions (to become postings). Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in an office environment. * High school diploma with 5+ years' experience in an office environment. Skills: * Experience using planning, organizational and tracking tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel. * Some experience in Human resource recruiting or onboarding (preferred). * Knowledge of manufacturing or placement services in the South Deerfield area a plus. * Experience in professional communication via phone, in person, and e-mail. * Highly organized, driven to achieve tasks efficiently and diligently on time. * Service oriented mind-set: ability to help potential candidates work through issues. * Non-overnight travel to job fairs, academic institutions may be required. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
