Read more at www.dsv.com Location: USA - Lancaster, Midpoint Dr Division: Road Job Posting Title: Senior Logistics Coordinator, Consolidation Time Type: Full Time Summary The Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the transportation and distribution of goods for DSV's clients. They work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure that goods are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities * Manage logistics operations for DSV's clients, including coordinating transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities * Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and logistics * Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and meet business goals * Analyze logistics data and make recommendations for process improvements and cost savings * Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations * Create shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation * Prepare and present reports to management and clients on logistics activities and performance * Manages dispatch with contractors, company drivers and partner carriers. Educational background / Work experience * Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field * At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in coordinating complex transportation operations Skills & Competencies * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making * Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) * Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics * Familiarity with international logistics, including customs regulations and documentation * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes Supervisory Responsibilities (if any) * May supervise a team of logistics coordinators or specialists Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field * Certification in logistics or supply chain management, such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) Language skills * Fluent in English (oral and written) Computer Literacy * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and logistics software and tools, such as TMS and WMS. For this position, the expected base pay is: $56,000 - $76,500/ Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
