They work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure that goods are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities * Manage logistics operations for DSV's clients, including coordinating transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities * Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and logistics * Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and meet business goals * Analyze logistics data and make recommendations for process improvements and cost savings * Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations * Create shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation * Prepare and present reports to management and clients on logistics activities and performance * Manages dispatch with contractors, company drivers and partner carriers. Educational background / Work experience * Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field * At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in coordinating complex transportation operations Skills & Competencies * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making * Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) * Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics * Familiarity with international logistics, including customs regulations and documentation * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes Supervisory Responsibilities (if any) * May supervise a team of logistics coordinators or specialists Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field * Certification in logistics or supply chain management, such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) Language skills * Fluent in English (oral and written) Computer Literacy * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and logistics software and tools, such as TMS and WMS. For this position, the expected base pay is: $56,000 - $76,500/ Annual.
