WE LOVE OUR WORK. * Provides name of horse, rider, lengths behind and any other descriptors for benefit of general public and simulcast audience of MVRC Races. * Provides general announcements to public. * Conveys pertinent information such as scratches, changes and any other updates of racing information as directed by Mutuel department or judges. * Provides explanations of infractions occurring on racetrack and resultant disqualifications. * Provides per-race commentary on horses and participants in races. * Coordinate with audio-visual department in developing content for daily simulcast presentation. * Acts a host for racing related media or promotional events before, during or after races. * Must be available to work for any racing hours. * This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and team members may also be asked to perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
