Summary This is a full-time position with the Office of the Counselor to the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. See 28 U.S.C. § 677. Tracks administrative business for the Counselor to address with the Chief Justice for information and decision; completes ensuing assignments; and maintains accurate records. Assists with planning for special events such as investitures, memorials, international judicial exchanges, and visits from official guests. Performs various drafting, editing, and writing assignments. Assists the Counselor and Staff Director with sensitive human resources issues, in liaison with the Justices' chambers, and other duties as assigned. Education A College degree and a minimum of five years of professional experience in the federal judiciary are required.
