ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Supervises all Facilities Department personnel, assuring that each employee receives appropriate training and timely Performance Appraisals for optimum performance. * Ensures the meticulous presentation of the property both internally and externally. * Supervises the maintenance and repair of all facilities and equipment and recommends necessary changes in them to assure continuous sources of light, heat, water, power, temperature control and efficiency. * Maintains knowledge of current maintenance techniques and procedures. * Reviews all Parts Requests, other than those specifically assigned to other functions. * Assumes ultimate responsibility for the timely completion of Work Orders and associated reports. * Research better methods and ways to reduce costs to achieve the most favorable impact on responsibilities and budgets. * Establishes methods, procedures and safety guidelines required to maintain desired standards and monitor results through inspection. Make changes if necessary to maintain results. * Administers policies and procedures to effectively control the workflow for the construction projects. * Directs the supervision of all construction operations to assure quality of work is in accordance with plans and specifications. Assist in management of the jobs within the established financial budget. * Acts as liaison and co-ordinates between Architect, Designers, Subcontractors, Building Officials, and Caesars Management Team. * Assist in the scheduling of work to minimize the impact of maintenance and construction noise on guests and internal customers. * Other tasks as assigned. Education & Experience: * College level classes preferred in Business, Accounting, Mathematics and technical areas. * Five years in progressively responsible maintenance operation QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older. * High School diploma or equivalent. * Coursework in skilled crafts or trades, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. * Five (5) plus years' experience in Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and small appliance repair. * Five (5) plus years' experience working with automated systems, chillers, boilers, pumps * Five (5) years in a management capacity preferred. * Ability to use and manage WMS. * Advanced knowledge of basic MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) * Must possess a sincere dedication to provide an unsurpassed level of owner and guest satisfaction. * Excellent guest service and hospitality skills. * Strong problem solving and listening skills. * Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. * Bilingual a plus - English/Spanish * Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must * Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. * Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Gaming License. * Must possess valid Driver's License. PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: * Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. * Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke. * Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. * Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke. * Must be able to work independently. * Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time (4 hours). * Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts. * Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator. * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel. * Respond to visual and aural cues. * Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment. * Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises, and bright lights. * Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives. * Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
