Reports the status of IT Services and infrastructure to include faults, actionable events, incidents, problems, cyber events, or corrective actions affecting Service Operations or infrastructure in accordance with MSL requirements, USCENTCOM information requirements, and USCENTCOM reporting procedures. Initiates trouble tickets within the authoritative ticketing system and contact on-call personnel. Coordinates corrective actions or COAs to restore and repair network conditions to meet network availability goals and objectives. Monitors power, temperature, humidity, and other environmental conditions in locations with IT and equipment for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL. Duties and Responsibilities Experience providing dedicated Tier 2 support. Ability to report the status of IT Services and infrastructure to include faults, actionable events, incidents, problems, cyber events, or corrective actions affecting Service Operations or infrastructure. Ability to initiate trouble tickets within the authoritative ticketing system and contact on-call personnel. Ability to coordinate corrective actions or COAs to restore and repair network conditions to meet network availability goals and objectives. Experience monitoring power, temperature, humidity, and other environmental conditions in locations with IT and equipment. Additional Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in functionality or performance. * Document integration processes, including configuration settings, and troubleshooting procedures. * Provide technical support and assistance during the deployment and post-deployment phases, addressing any integration-related issues or concerns. * Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in systems integration, evaluating their potential impact on our integration strategies and recommending adoption where appropriate. * Participate in meetings and workshops to share knowledge and best practices related to systems integration. * Directly support teams with unique Service Delivery related strategy and design, and partner with the operations team to bring designed capabilities online and deployed across the environment * Maintain key customer relationships to support strategic tech insertion and lifecycle replacement of IT hardware for the entire IT Enterprise. Education and/or Certifications: Required: * Bachelor's Degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study and at least 3+ years of experience * Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification, such as a CompTIA Security + CE cert or a A+ or Network + cert. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
