We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance Operations to oversee and manage all maintenance activities within the organization. This role involves providing leadership and technical oversight, supervising maintenance personnel, and developing detailed project plans for new programs. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director will ensure efficient and compliant operation of maintenance functions, drive process improvements, and support all departments in achieving operational excellence. Responsibilities: * Overall responsibility for interface between Quality, Maintenance and Technical departments. * Ensures the control and overall effectiveness of the operation. * Establishes and modifies policy, procedures, and processes consistent with FAA regulations and company directives. * Evaluates the needs of the repair stations equipment, tools, and materials necessary to perform the maintenance or alterations under its repair station certificate and operations specifications in accordance with 14 CFR part 43. * Work to manage workflow and overall task management within the shop environment, including on aircraft work scopes. * Define requirements to add new capabilities to our operations expanding on the current approved capabilities. * Work with Quality to define and support additional training needed to support repair station growth. * Develop new hire's ability to perform tasks as the need arises at the repair station. * Provide technical assistance to all repair station employees as needed. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Certification under part 65 (A&P License required). * Ten years of aircraft/engine maintenance management experience in a CFR 121 or CFR 145 environment. * Business management skills, including supervision and customer communication. * Experience in budgeting and planning.
