Description

We are in search of an interim Senior Accountant to assist our client. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity where the selected candidate will handle tasks related to accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will be expected to efficiently process accounting tasks, maintain accurate records, and handle customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

- Efficiently process monthly journal entries as part of the month-end close

- Ensure accurate maintenance and review of balance sheet account reconciliations

- Handle the preparation and review of monthly bank reconciliations

- Conduct account analysis to identify variances

- Engage in ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Accounting Software Systems to perform tasks efficiently

- Support the Controller in interim tasks

Requirements - Must possess strong proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

- Ability to manage all Accounting Functions effectively

- Demonstrated experience in Month End Close operations

- Proficient in creating Month-end Journal Entries

- Experience in conducting Monthly Bank Reconciliation

- Skilled in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

- Strong Account Analysis skills

- Expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior position

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- CPA or relevant qualification is a plus.
