Job Description: R&D Solutions Laboratory Manager - Mars Global Services The R&D Solutions Laboratory Manager is part of our Mars Global Services Organization. The Laboratory/Site Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of the general operations at the laboratory site, including safety and QMS. This role will ensure that the business continuity plan for laboratory testing is maintained, and that efficiency and sustainability programs are deployed. Leadership and engagement of direct reports on the sample management team and management of capital projects are also part of this role. What are we looking for? * Bachelors degree Degree Chemistry, Microbiology or relevant field or discipline required. * Minimum of 5 years technical laboratory background in food testing methods. Preferred experience in pet and human food matrices. * Demonstrated knowledge of quality and food safety analysis (contaminants, nutritional composition, oxidation, physical parameters, etc.) * Experience in managing teams, lab budgets and Capital projects. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. * Preferred experiences in: * Process efficiency, such as LSS / 6 sigma; * Working experience in technical audit * Knowledge of ISO 17025 laboratory requirements What would your key responsibilities be? Operation of the Site and Regional Sample Management Service * Responsible for associate Safety and compliance to local regulatory requirements. * Maintains accreditation and compliance to quality standards. * Leads the regional Sample Management team at TNT. * Drives Continuous improvement and efficiency programs to ensure effective operations. * Manages relationship with regional external testing partners to optimize internal/external testing flow and backup capability for business continuity. * Accountable for safety and QMP at the site * Drives efficiency and sustainability at the site * Coordinates and executes capital projects * Maintains the BCM plan at the site * Occasional travel for management meetings or site visits.
