Quality inspector * Provide audit results in a timely manner which supports periodic audits, finish goods audit, checking parts using basic measurement tools, and functional testing across various departments (Extrusion, Handles, Molding, etc.). * Under the guidance of Quality management team reject suspect or non-conforming components * Perform basic measurement using micrometers, calipers, pin gages, Go - No gages and mating parts based on quality procedures. * Ability to make decisions based on quality criteria. * Ability to evaluate discrepant product. * Write documentation and reports to describe program audit and results * Ability to use Microsoft office (Excel) * Adheres to approved Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. * Performs other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined. REQUIREMENTS: * A minimum of (1) year proven quality audits in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Ability to use basic measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, pin gages, etc.) to complete audits, read and interprets blue prints and specifications * Quality molding knowledge (basic concepts: short shot, splay, flash, etc) * Effective oral and written communications skills * Availability to work on different shifts and overtime as needed * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with internal employees (proactive, good attitude, good communication) * Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred * Safety conscious * Computer skills * Other duties might be assigned and not all activities might be assigned Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
