'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that make H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a: HEART FOR PEOPLE... willingness to mentor and train?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... flexibility to understand how to hire for different career fields?PASSION FOR RESULTS... drive to hire the best so we stay the best?We are looking for:- experience in recruiting, sourcing, and related tools- advanced interviewing, assessment, negotiation, and influencing skillsWhat is the work?Recruiting:- May administer one or more large-scale recruiting programs- Recruits internal / external candidates (to Director level)- Sources candidates through multiple sources (e.g., cold calls, direct recruiting referrals, networking)- Reviews resumes; assesses candidates for knowledge, skills, and abilities- Conducts first-level interviews; makes recommendations to hiring managers; reviews / discusses candidate performance with subsequent interviewers- Assists candidates with new hire activities; ensures they move through the hiring process in a timely manner- Organizes / executes H-E-B participation in job fairs and college recruiting activities- Conducts pre-employment activities such as drug testing, background / reference checks- Develops compensation package, relocation, and offer letter for candidates- Uses e-recruiting system (e.g., My Career 2.0) to input / extract data as needed- Develops / delivers company-wide communication materials related to recruiting programs and processes- Designs / recommends changes to current recruiting programs, processes, policies- Identifies / interprets industry trends, recruiting solutions- Assists in developing / communicating recruiting strategy for assigned client(s)- Leads cross-functional groups- Mentors team members; teaches recruiting techniques / strategiesWhat is your background?- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or comparable experience- 4+ years of experience in recruiting and human resources- 4+ years of experience in sourcing / selection tools- Experience sourcing / recruiting for diverse business typesDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Senior Recruiter?- Proficiency in MS Office and database systems- Advanced interviewing, assessment, negotiation, and influencing skills- Advanced analytical and project management skills- Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills- Organization and time-management skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasks; attention to detail- Ability to effectively interface at all levels- Ability to work with various types of business fields and hiring manager personalitiesCan you...- Function in a fast-paced retail, office environment- Travel by car / plane with overnight stays- Sit for extended periods- Work extended hours07-2016 Responsibilities Every day, in every part of H-E-B, People Matter.
