Here, you will make an impact by: * Function as a technical resource on manufacturing processes and equipment * Development and implementation of improvements related to safety, quality, service, cycle time, cost (productivity) * Development and implementation of cross-functional projects, plans, and programs in support of business and strategic plans new process start-ups, new process technology integration, aggressive cost reduction, and supply chain improvement using Continuous Improvement tools * Proactively communicates project direction and status to appropriate personnel * Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M's values and ethical standards * Utilize Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to drive operational improvements and excellence Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND three (3) years of experience working in manufacturing/ production in a private, public, government or military environment. OR * High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND seven (7) years of experience working in manufacturing/ production in a private, public, government or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: * CAD experience * Experience with plastic injection molding, CNC machining, robotics, vision system, automation, and adhesive dispensing * Master's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution * Experience in a manufacturing engineer role supporting and/or building automated equipment * Microsoft Office proficiency * Excellent communications skills (oral, written and presentation) Work location: Onsite in Monrovia, CA Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
