Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site. Reporting to the Process Development Engineer, the Intern will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting continuous improvement projects in the production of a variety of products. Various technical and business skills will be developed through the projects and interaction with different team members and the customer. What a typical day looks like: * Analyze current manufacturing process, providing data driven improvements on the process area assigned by the engineering manager * Present improvement proposal to engineering manager and team for feedback and approval * Execute, with engineering team support, project improvements * Create/revise Manufacturing Process Instructions and/or Preventative Maintenance Instructions based on the improvements implemented * Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment: * Currently enrolled Junior or Senior pursuing degree Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field * Microsoft Office Suite * Mini-tab or equivalent data analysis tools * SolidWorks or other design software experience * Microsoft Project, SQL, Java Script, Python, C# * Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills * Self-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills * Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others * Demonstrated leadership skills and team orientation * Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Internship Program Requirements: * Available to start on May 28th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment * Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university * 3.0 minimum GPA Job Category Intern Is Sponsorship Available?
