What you will be doing: * Develop and manage the release schedule, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business goals. * Coordinate with development, QA, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth and timely releases. * Identify and manage dependencies and risks associated with releases. * Oversee the version control process, ensuring that the correct versions of software are deployed. * Manage the build process and automate deployment scripts to streamline the release process. * Ensure that all releases comply with the organization's standards and policies as well as regulatory requirements and security standards. * Implement and enforce change management processes, ensuring that all changes are documented, reviewed, and approved. * Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related communications, providing updates to stakeholders on release progress, issues, and risks. * Prepare and distribute release notes, deployment guides, and other documentation to relevant parties. * Work closely with QA teams to ensure that all releases are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards. * Coordinate regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the release. * Manage and resolve release-related incidents, ensuring minimal impact on production environments. * Conduct post-release reviews and root cause analysis to identify and address issues, improving future releases. * Coordinate environment provisioning and configuration, ensuring that environments are ready for testing and deployment. * Continuously evaluate and improve release processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and reduce release cycle times. * Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to release management. * Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain the integrity of the release process. * Provide training and guidance to team members on release management processes and tools. * Perform other duties, as assigned. What you already have: Education, Experience, and Licensing: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field, or High School diploma and equivalent relevant work experience required. * 3+ years of experience in a Release Manager role required. * 1+ years of experience with cloud providers (Azure) required * 1+ years of experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools such as GitHub, Jira, * Certifications such as Certified Release Manager (CRM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) preferred. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: * Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. * Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible; able to adjust to new requirements or unforeseen issues. * Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills. * Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute partnership strategies. * Strong business acumen, including knowledge of marketing and finance. The ability to think creatively and come up with new solutions ● Some knowledge of the Homeowner's P&C Insurance industry. * Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. * Desire to live Slide's Core Values.
