Position Summary Lead, plan, oversee and participate in the more complex and difficult work of staff responsible for the construction, installation, repair, maintenance, and remodeling of airport facilities. Coordinate activities, personnel, material and equipment necessary to complete assigned construction projects and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. High school diploma or GED supplemented by thirty (30) credit hours vocational training in construction, carpentry, plumbing, or welding; and Four (4) years of experience in general building or facility construction. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire. Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire. Must be able to successfully qualify for and maintain a Sunport Access Control Card as determined by the criteria set forth by the policies and guidelines of the Aviation Department and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Successful completion of a security background check conducted by U.S. Customs & Border Protection, if applicable.
