Job Posting Summary Baptist Health is looking to add an Plant Facilities Supervisor Plant Facilities Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville South. The position is a first responder to requests for electrical repairs on a large variety of equipment, systems and building components. The successful candidate will have outstanding customer service skills and a broad background in building, equipment and system repairs. The campus is large and complex; therefore everyday it brings new challenges and opportunities to provide top quality service. As an Plant Facilities Supervisor Plant Facilities you will be responsible for: * * Supervise staff and over see functions of the Engineering Department; assist in development, review and enforce policies and procedures; assist in personnel management; coordinate staff work assignments; time keeping and payroll; and coordinate the control of equipment and supplies. * The Engineering Supervisor will also cover as backup on-call to assist staff as problems may arise. * This position may be called upon to perform other duties and responsibilities outside the normal job classification yet still within the department. * Also includes weekend scheduling, on-call rotation, alternate shift assignments or overtime as required.
