Your Job Automation Master Technician - Camden Plywood Resume is required to be considered for this position Pay is commensurate with experience Our Team Georgia-Pacific is now hiring motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an AUTOMATION MASTER TECHNICIAN at our facility in Camden Texas. The individual will have responsibility for the automated equipment in the Finishing and Shipping department. What You Will Do * Maintain and optimize automated /robot equipment including panel repair and packaging equipment. * Provide technical support and perform operational duties as needed * Coach / mentor Operator Technicians to maximize machine performance, identify root cause failures, and apply long term solutions to achieve production and quality goals. * Support mill personnel troubleshooting of control systems, vision systems, data collection systems, electrical equipment and manufacturing processes. * Provide training for operations team members * Less than 10% regional travel for training and division support The Skills You Will Bring: * Demonstrated experience with various automation applications to include industrial robots, CNC equipment, conveyor systems and mobile robotics. * Demonstrated, hands-on experience with Allen Bradley control systems including PLC/HMI programming, VFD configuration, and motion controls. * Experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings and pumps, lubrication * Passion for performing basic mechanical repairs such as cutting, welding, construction, etc. * Passion for performing basic electrical repairs. * Ability to operate complex equipment with HMI interface, metering devices, encoders, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc. * Experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings and pumps, lubrication * Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics * Ability to read and understand equipment manuals * Strong computer skills * Ability to work in a team environment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * High school diploma or GED OR * Completion or a 2-year technical trade school OR at least 5 years of Manufacturing or Industrial Maintenance experience * Five (5) or more years of maintenance technical support experience in a manufacturing or military environment. What Will Put You Ahead * Associates degree in a technician field such as electrical, mechanical or similar trades * 5 or more years working as an electrical / mechanical craft or Plant Technician * 5 or more years working as a Team Lead with mechanical /electrical experience * 3 or more years of experience operating complex automated equipment. i.e. industrial robot cells, Automated conveyor systems, robotic painting systems or vision-based sorting equipment. * Advanced experience and capabilities with programming and troubleshooting PLC's VFD, HMI and industrial networks. * Beckoff controls system experience * Demonstrated experience with vision integration applications * Precision Maintenance background (electrical / mechanical) At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
