As a Research Student, you will work closely with research personnel and actively participate in a structured learning experience in the laboratory or clinical research setting. During this experience, you will gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical settings, data collection and analysis and/or other related skills to explore careers in biomedical and/or clinical research. The ideal future caregiver is someone who: * Has an undergraduate degree. * Wants to learn laboratory techniques to support ongoing research projects. * Is eager to learn and receive feedback. * Has decisive judgement and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities: * Student will begin learning laboratory techniques to support ongoing research projects in the laboratory or clinical setting with minimal supervision * Student will begin learning how to record and analyze data related to research experiments or other data sets with minimal supervision. * Other duties as assigned. Education: * Undergraduate degree required. * May be accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as a medical student, MA/MS student or other graduate program student. (EXCLUDES students in a PhD program) * This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Languages: * N/A Certifications: * N/A Complexity of Work: * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Work Experience: * None required. * Students with previous research laboratory experience are often preferred. Physical Requirements: * Normal physical requirements include good near visual acuity and color acuity.
