Founded in 1997, and providing nationwide services, ASG has teams based in Northern California, Los Angeles, the New York Tri-State Area, the Southeastern US, and the Rocky Mountain Region.We are Looking for:The Audio Mixer/Sound Designer supports the audio needs of pretapes for live events, promos/sizzles, and linear series, contributing to their overall success and impact. This is a fully on-site position on a temporary part-time/ad-hoc basis.Job Responsibilities:Manage and ensure a well-mixed deliverable for both streaming and live audience experience, linear FAST channels, and social/advertising platforms.Create and develop original workflows to adapt to changing show and client needs.Prepare and organize all deliverables.Optimize and follow the run-of-show document to ensure smooth event flow.Partner with producers and other crew members to execute and produce audio elements.Attend production meetings to analyze and interpret assigned responsibilities.Perform regular maintenance checks on audio equipment.Ensure clear and balanced sound for vocals, instruments, and other audio sources.Act as a subject matter expert on broadcast and live-streaming audio specs and equipment.Serve as the primary point of contact for audio production inquiries.Collaborate with production operators and producers on system integration and upgrades.Occasionally assist production operators with other event requirements.Qualifications and Experience:5 - 7 years of broadcast or live event experience in audio engineering or related discipline.Bachelor's degree or certification in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a related field preferred (e.g., L Acoustics, SMAART, Pro Tools, Q-SYS, or other audio certifications).Proficient knowledge of audio systems, signal flow, and troubleshooting techniques.Expertise in operating digital and analog audio consoles.Familiarity with ST2110 standards.Experience with cloud-based workflows.Proficiency in streaming protocols and workflows.Understanding of ENG production, including remote video production.Ham radio certification or documented RF experience.Knowledge of the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process.Experience with Crestron systems.Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slides) and Microsoft Outlook Mail, Calendar, and TeamsCompensation & Benefits:Compensation range for this position $62-75/hour.Advanced Systems Group LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
