JOB TITLE: Branding Iron and Branding Iron Online Photo Editor JOB PURPOSE: Provide supervision of staff photographers, make and follow through on all photo assignments, and shoot photographs for the Branding Iron newspaper and BI Online Web site. JFNTMP ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * In consultation with section editor, provide assignments of photos for newspaper. * Provide cutlines for all photos shot in a timely manner prior to publication. * Supervise work of photographers and their photo assignments. * Meet with editor as needed. * Maintain regular office hours of not less than 10 hours per week. * Supervise payroll procedures for photographers. * Delegates duties. Conduct regular meetings with section editors to discuss story ideas, assignments and the general direction of the newspaper. REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum 2.5 GPA * Access to a digital camera * Full-time student * Available Aug. 21 and 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for training.
