Job Description The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for assisting in the direction and coordination of all sales activities for the Sales Office. The Sr. Sales Manager will manage sales line to maximize operating budget targets. * Assists sales representatives in closing sales, as well as in the preparation of necessary documentation for completing sales transactions. * Maintains Bluegreen minimum performance standards. * Attends and conducts site meetings as directed. * Conducts sales presentations as prospect flow dictates. * May conduct refresher training for sales representatives falling below minimum standards. * Specific managerial duties as assigned varies from sales site. * Presents prices, financing, and incentives to prospective sales guests. * Makes the decision when to close negotiations to complete a sale to a guest. * Recruit and train sales representatives * Motivate and mentor sales team to achieve budgeted sales goals * Ensure that management staff are aware of and adhere to all Bluegreen's HR policies and procedures * Ensure that sales activities are conducted within State, Corporate, and National Sales guidelines Expectations: * Each Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, mentoring and with the knowledge and presence of the Director of Sales, disciplining their team members within the policies and procedures outlined in the Bluegreen Vacations company handbook. Each Team Leader will receive a new copy of the handbook and be responsible for reading and understanding the contents and policies therein. * Each Sales Manager will hold at least one (1) weekly training session either in concert with other teams or on their own with curriculum approved by the In-House Sales Manager or Director of Sales. Such training sessions will be at least 30 minutes long and will cover pertinent topics. * Each Sales Manager will be evaluated on the performance of his or her team and must ensure that the team maintains minimum standards for VPG, sampler sales, referral collection, Medallia scores and other metrics as outlined herein. * Each Sales Manager will be responsible to ensure that each team member is trained, mentored and coached to be both a productive team member and a good representative of the Bluegreen Vacation. Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 3 years of sales leadership role experience * Minimum of 4 years of timeshare sales experience * Real Estate License when required by state law. * Customer service and quality fundamentals, MS Office. * Ability to communicate effectively in verbally and in writing. * Ability to motivate and mentor staff. * Must have thorough understanding of all aspects of timeshare sales transactions. * Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and motivational skills. * Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, * Strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, * Effective interpersonal communication skills to deal with all levels of the organization.
