Learn more about our Transformation Story here: Who we are What you will do Ferroglobe is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Programming Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience in a leading industrial company while working on innovative projects that have a real impact on our business operations. The selected candidate will collaborate with experienced professionals in our IT department to support various software development initiatives. * Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain Python applications. * Assist in troubleshooting and debugging existing software. * Contribute to the development of new features and improvements to existing systems. * Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices. * Engage in research to incorporate the latest Python technologies and frameworks. * Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Document and report on progress and development processes. What we seek: * Strong foundational knowledge of Python and its libraries. * Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask is a plus. * Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial. * Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. * Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks. * Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Masters in the relevant field.
