Release Manager Location: Anywhere in United States, remote We are looking for an experienced Project Manager- Release and Change Management for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers. Roles and Responsibilities: * Hands on experience in SCM, Release and Change Management Areas and Domain knowledgeable in Health Care, Insurance & Life Sciences. * Demonstrable experience with Release Management in ServiceNow, including packaging releases at the end of each sprint, publishing release notes detailing content of each release package, and preparing and using production release checklists. * Experience in evaluating all requests proposing change to established and supported platforms, identifying, analyzing and documenting potential risks or issues. * Liaise with business and 3rd party vendors to capture, analyze and document requested changes against these platforms including the actions that will be taken to mitigate the risks identified. * Execute, control and manage a schedule of planned releases to pre-production and production environments * Ensure Release Management processes are developed further, continuously. Desired Skills: * Expert in ITIL Knowledge * Certification, SCM, SDLC * Expert knowledge of Agile development methodologies * Significant release management experience in an Agile SDLC environment * Hands on experience on Domain HC knowledge, Release and configuration management, Tools, and deployment process. * Able to handle team, issues, mitigate risks and provide metrics * Applications will be accepted until 10/23/24 Salary and Other Compensation: * The annual salary for this position is [$79,000 to $110,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. * This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
