The University offers both the civic and church communities of the Pacific region its academic and intellectual resources in the pursuit of common aims. * Position Information Title: Program Manager, Marriage and Family Therapy Masters and Doctoral Programs Department: School of Education and Behavioral Sciences (SEBS) Exempt, Full Time * Position Summary The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management/operations and administrative support for their assigned programs. The Program Manager must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in their interactions with internal and external stakeholders, be highly ethical and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality. * Reports to Direct Report to: Director of Marriage and Family Therapy Programs (MS-MFT and DMFT) Indirect Report to: Dean of SEBS * Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Assist the Program Director with overseeing and managing both program functions, including the oversight of day-to-day operations, office management, student support, admission and recruitment-related activities, and data management as related to program review, program assessment, and accreditation. * Manage program data and reports, including enrollment data, program evaluations, and outcome assessments. * Coordinate program events, including orientations, workshops, and networking events to promote a graduate culture. * Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the program meets the needs of students and achieving its program goals and learning outcomes. * Assist in supporting adjunct instructor onboarding and coordination. * Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, and community partners. * Support student success by assisting the Program Director with academic advising and other resources. * Assist the Program Director in developing and managing program budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring fiscal responsibility. * Additional Duties and responsibilities as assigned. * Disclaimer This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. Details relating to both essential and non-essential functions of the job are not precise and are only an approximation, which can vary on a day-to-day basis and are subject to change on an as-needed basis and/or in the sole discretion of supervisory management. * Education and Experience Minimum * Bachelor's degree * 5 years in an administrative role Preferred * Master's degree in human services/healthcare, psychology, counseling, business administration, or related field. * Experience working in a college or university environment * Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body at all levels of the university * Must be able to navigate the Internet and possess knowledge of common office equipment. * Physical Requirements Duties involve light work in an office and community setting and requires a minimum of physical effort with intermittent sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and walking inclines. Must be able to lift 20 pounds, walk the campus with ease, and have excellent motor skills. Must have finger dexterity. Must be able to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. * Other Requirements * This is a full time, exempt position. Forty hours per week (M-F) will be the general rule. However, depending on the project cycles and workflow demands of the department, additional hours or workday schedule changes may be occasionally required. Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends and have a varying schedule when required * Performs such similar, comparable or related duties as may be assigned or required * Observes all safety and health regulations and works in accordance with safe work procedures and policies of the University.
