The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Research Analyst/Coordinator to support our potential government customer located Dayton, OH. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide professional studies, reports, analyses and recommendation(s), technical, and scientific support. * Coordinate with stakeholders/beneficiaries to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. * Evaluate large data sets to establish best practices and eliminate uncertainty surrounding existing and proposed systems and system interfaces. * Recommend options and propose mockups for 'roll-up' metrics, reports, and management tools. * Write, review, design, and/or critique strategic, operational, and tactical level objectives related to informatics and knowledge management. * Assist with design presentations. * Support the compilation and analysis of data, authoring tools and references, and conducting special studies. * Coordinate and meet at least once every two weeks with the study team to provide a summary of work accomplished and project future goals. * Coordinate with the Data Scientist to maximize the knowledge base of the Air Force or Air Staff risk management and decision-making tools to assist with developing and analyzing data to support the Deliverables. * Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: * Have an MS in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Have at least 3-5 years of related work and/or graduate experience in Mixed-Methods Research, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. * Experience working with large and varied datasets. * Have at least 8 years of experience using Microsoft Office software programs, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Visio. * Have experience in data collection and analysis to support high level decisions. * Must complete the following specific computer-based training within 30 days of start: Air Force Risk Management Fundamentals Course 2020, FMA300 - Manager's Internal Control Program (MICP) Risk Assessment Review, DCS300 Decision Support * Must be willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE: * Must be a U.S. Citizen * Must be able to pass a Tier I (SF85) Background check The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is a fast-growing government service provider.
