Job Summary Responsible for managing the Workman's Comp referrals and admissions that are generated through their assigned market. Acts as liaison by coordinating transmission of clinical and benefit information between patients, decision-makers, referral sources, outside entities and the ScionHealth Specialty Hospitals they serve. Represents ScionHealth and their assigned market with professionalism and maintains positive relationships with the accounts within their territory. Designs and manages the Workman's Comp marketing strategies for their assigned market. Identifies and contacts new and potential referral sources to grow the Workman's Comp book of business their respective territory. Conducts in-person educational meetings and conversations with referral sources, utilizing educational materials to present our specialty hospitals to referral sources. Performs 80% or more of work outside the home, with expectation of being on-site at their respective accounts daily. Essential Functions * Responsible for workers compensation admissions, by coordinating with the workers compensation Case Managers, Adjusters and Physician. * Develops a single point of contact for the workers' compensation companies. * Aligning with the Managed Care team and other Clinical Liaison's in the assigned Market. * Works closely with the Managed Care team on rate negotiations. * Attend in person sales calls and education opportunities with physicians and worker compensation companies. * Attend worker compensation conferences. * Call on STAC units and specialists treating workers compensation patients. * Work closing with all the Clinical Liaisons in the assigned market. * Increase presence, awareness, and relationships online (LinkedIn). * Responsible for communicating patient outcomes to referral sources, including Workers Compensation Case Managers. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations * Must be self-motivated. * Able to research sales opportunities. * Proficient in using prevalent analytics tools and interpreting data for targeting business opportunities. * Approximate percent of time required to travel: 100% * Must read, write and speak fluent English * Must have good and regular attendance * Performs other related duties as assigned. Education * Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. * Degree in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or another related field strongly preferred. * Extensive healthcare sales work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree. Licenses/Certification * Valid driver's license * Clinical license preferred; Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Respiratory Therapist (RT) Experience * Minimum two (2) years of former healthcare sales experience and/or minimum of two (2) years of clinical healthcare experience strongly preferred. * Formal sales training preferred. * Demonstrated understanding of Workman's Comp reimbursement, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers as related to LTACH benefits. * Demonstrated competence in strategic business planning and design of marketing initiatives.
