The arena has witnessed many historic moments, unforgettable performances, and become an iconic landmark in the region for the most popular and important events.  Job Summary: The Sr Technology Specialist will be the lead operational team member in the venue technology team and will provide support to our business users, tenants, clients and events. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work well while analyzing and prioritizing multiple requests and solving problematic technical issues to achieve resolution. This position supports the Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater and LA LIVE Campus. Essential Functions: * Demonstrates a high degree of strong communication skills, customer service, technical expertise, sense of urgency and responsiveness and being the main point of escalation for persistent and problematic technical issues. * Show high level ability to analyze and evaluate technical documents, contracts, quotes and to provide feedback and recommendations as needed. * Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects, plan, and deliver through the required project stages. Demonstrate initiative by going above and beyond to complete projects successfully in a timely manner. * Monitor assigned Service Desk requests within ServiceNow and to ensure all issues are accurately logged, completed on time and documented according to relevant processes. * Liaise with customers and internal staff to deliver and account for technology requirements for events as and when requested by the Senior Director of Technology. * Attend internal and external meetings and to have the ability to communicate effectively, provide updates on projects, provide technical recommendations, and create presentations and technical documentation as needed. Develop technical relationships with key supplies and business partners. * Work consistently with business leaders to gather and understand technology requirements for projects and business applications and to show professional maturity when representing AEG Global Technology in business discussions. * Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest technical strategies to meet those objectives, introducing innovation to business processes through technology. * Maintain system documentation and configuration data for operating, regulatory, and enforcement of all information security protocols. Proficient in writing reports and to present progress to the senior management team. * Be proactive and aim to resolve problems at the earliest opportunity and have the patience and ability to provide guidance, support and training to other team members as needed. * Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with teams, provide input and feedback in a helpful manner. * Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as requested by any member of the senior management team. Required Qualifications: * A minimum education level of:  BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Business, Computer Science or related field * A minimum of 4-6 years of related work experience. * Experience with core Microsoft technologies: Windows, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint. * Experience in System Engineering, Network Support, SaaS/IaaS, Virtualization. * Experience in network technologies including understanding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANS, be able to troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues, and be able to make network cables, use crimp tools, etc. * Working knowledge of current Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 10 and Windows 11) and supporting and installing applications on these platforms. * Working knowledge of VMware, SaaS and IaaS infrastructures. * Knowledge of industry best practices, designing and implementing systems and infrastructure in a secure and pragmatic way. * Knowledge in user experience when designing systems; ensuring that infrastructure is designed with the user in mind and provided with the most secure and easy to use interactions and systems. * Must be able to document with high standards, including configuration documentation for supported systems, standard operational procedures and request for change and service incident documentation. * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task. * Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with staff, managers, clients and vendors. * Must have professional demeanor with a 'can do' attitude. * Must be a team player. * Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, as scheduled/needed. Preferred Qualifications: * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) * Previous experience working in a similar facility environment. Pay Scale: $125,000 AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
